Live Nation Lietuva, the largest event organiser in the Baltics, has officially confirmed that Sting, the 17-time Grammy Award-winning singer, will perform a special edition of his Sting: My Songs 2024 concert tour at Kaunas Žalgirio Arena on 9 June next year. This continues the world tour of one of the world’s most famous artists, who has captivated audiences across Europe, the US, Asia and Australia. Tickets will go on sale to the public this Friday, 10 November at 10am online at www.bilietai.lt and at all Bilietai.lt box offices.

Sting’s grand show My Songs is a unique and dynamic performance of everyone’s favourite hits, spanning his career as a member of The Police and solo artist. The Times called the longest tour in the artist’s history “a masterclass” and said: “Sting remains undoubtedly a world-class performer with an extraordinary back catalogue of world-beating hits.

In just over 2 hours, the concert will feature many of his iconic songs, including pop gems such as “Englishman in New York”, “Fields of Gold”, “Roxanne”, “Every Breath You Take”, “Message in a Bottle” and more. Sting will be accompanied by a group of rock musicians who have performed with him for many years.

Sting has recently been recognised as a Fellow of The Ivors Academy, the prestigious English music writers’ association. Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner (Sting’s real name) is a true master of lyrics and a genius in many genres. As the singer himself recently said: ‘Songwriting is my self-therapy when I have to deal with issues that are not comfortable – mortality being one of them… And the paradox of writing songs that sound happy but are actually kind of the opposite.”

Public ticket sales for Sting’s concert will start this Friday (10 November) from 10 a.m. at all Bilietai.lt box offices and online at www.bilietai.lt. Two days earlier, on Wednesday (8 November) from 10 a.m., the first tickets will be available to members of the Live Nation Lietuva Concert Club (http://bit.ly/LiveNationConcertClub).
