The name of Linas Adomaitis’ tour changes: a gift for his son and the audience

Linas Adomaitis, one of Lithuania’s most famous performers, presents a new name for his concert tour in the country’s major arenas. The tour, filled with aesthetics and musical luxury, will take place on 22 December in Klaipėda and on 27 December in Kaunas together with the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra NIKO.

Linas Adomaitis had planned his concert tour “Saulės pėdomis” several years ago, but due to the global pandemic, he was forced to postpone it twice. Taking into account the latest developments, the singer has decided to change the name of the tour to a brighter and nobler one: ‘Šviesa spindės tamsoje’.

The latest concert tour, as well as Linas’ latest song with the same title, is a gift from the musician to his son Jakubas and to the audience of the concert tour, who will be able to enjoy the music performed by Linas Adomaitis and the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra NIKO (artistic director of the orchestra, composer Gediminas Gelgotas).

“What is happening in the world today makes us rethink life, relationships and work, so we have decided to renew the themes of the concert tour, which would be relevant, which would breathe the values of today. We want to bring light, faith, courage and hope to people,” says L. Adomaitis.

The singer remembers well the arena tour “Vandenynai” with the LVSO Orchestra and maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius. “It left me with unforgettable memories and an invaluable experience. “Vandenynai” was dedicated to my first-born Saule, and the latest tour “Šviesa spindės tamsoje” is dedicated to my son Jokubas. It is symbolic. Children are the greatest treasure and meaning, they are the reason why we live, create and wish them light,” adds Linas.

The professionalism of the author of numerous hits and his long concert experience with the best Lithuanian orchestras, big bands and choirs leave no one indifferent. It seems that every performance of Linas Adomaitis is different, which only underlines his ability to juggle different genres of music.

The tour “Šviesa spindės tamsoje” (Light will shine in the dark) will feature such well-known hits by Linas Adomaitis as “Vandenynai”, “Lupos kaip vysnios”, “Tavo spalvos”, “Lauko vidury”, “Saulės pėdomis” (Footsteps of the Sun), “Ar tu tu ja matei?”, “Žalioj tyloj” (Green Silence), “As pavydziu sau” and many more. The musician also promises the audience some unheard tracks and surprises, which are still a secret.
This tour is not only the most beautiful Lino’s songs to the depths of our hearts, which will be performed in arrangements specially prepared for this tour with the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra NIKO, but also an unforgettable spectacle for the visitors of Kaunas and Klaipėda arenas. The tour will take place on 22 December at Klaipėda’s Švyturys Arena and on 27 December at Kaunas Žalgiris Arena. Tickets are distributed by BILIETAI.lt. All those who have purchased tickets for the “Saulės pėdomis” tour concerts in these arenas will be entitled to the same tickets.
