Vidas Bareikis, one of the country’s most famous performers, celebrates exactly ten years since his first album “Panda” was released on 18 October. To celebrate the solid anniversary of his creative activity, the artist is preparing for his fans the biggest show to date. Already on 17 February, Bareikis and the VMU Orchestra will perform the show “Rave with Orchestra” at Kaunas Zalgirio Arena.

“This will be my biggest musical celebration, so I am inviting all of Lithuania to the concert! Come to those who were the first seven people at my first solo concert ten years ago, those who travelled with me to the Three Canadas and those who have always missed “Babkių” or Pusvalandukas. I also look forward to seeing all those who don’t care for “Nerves” and, of course, those who have risen straight from the bottom of the “Lake”. I also invite all the “Mamas to see” “Brad Pitt”, who is not guilty of anything, and those who never “Don’t lose their song”, – Vidas was not short of humour when inviting to the concert.

Bareikis’ biggest show at Kaunas Zalgirio Arena on 17 February 2023 is going to be a truly extraordinary programme – he is preparing a concert of his best songs.

Together with Vidas, the Vytautas Magnus University Orchestra will also perform on stage.They have decided to “get out” of their comfort zone and perform differently from the orchestras we are used to seeing in concerts.

According to the performer, this concert is a dream from ten years ago, which will take shape in the form of this one and only arena show.

“When I started my solo career with concerts with 7 or 9 people, I always dreamt of celebrating my tenth anniversary with ten thousand people in a big hall,” says Bareikis.

The “Rave with Orchestra” show promises to combine highlights, an orchestral performance, unexpected guests and memorable elements of the show into a single performance that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on everyone who comes.
