Ever since the establishment of the EuroLeague Zalgiris Kaunas has been taking a part in the tournament. This season presents Zalgiris Kaunas players with the new EuroLeague format. From now on all of the 16 clubs will play each other twice in the regular season. This means that Zalgirio arena will be welcoming all of the strongest and most powerful European basketball teams.
