Perfect news for vocal music fans – on 2016 May 1 one of the world’s most famous bands, ten Grammy statues awarded American vocal virtuosos – TAKE 6 will perform at Žalgiris arena.
TAKE 6, who connected jazz, rhythm and blues and gospel genres, is officially crowned as the best a cappella group in the world.
Although other musical instruments were emerged into group albums, the biggest oneness of TAKE 6 for three decades are voices of six vocalists, which create musical magic.
In addition to ten Grammy trophies the group holds the record for the most Grammy nominations as the best group. Singers’ collection contains ten Gospel Music Awards, a place in symbolic Gospel Hall of Fame, sixteen albums and three Golden Disk Awards.
