Lithuanian ROTARY and LIONS communities together with ICC Ukraine and Ukrainian and Lithuanian performers are joining forces to organise a major support concert, all proceeds of which will go towards the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers and fighters in Lithuania.

Four Ukrainian stars are joining this benefit concert: Ruslana, Tina Karol, NK- Nastya Kamenskich, Nadya Dorofeeva and a bunch of Lithuanian performers.

The concert will feature Marijonas Mikutavičius, Merūnas, Liepa Mondeikaitė and Alana Šport, Inga Valinskienė, Nomeda Kazlaus, G&G Syndicate, Saulius Urbonavičius, Rosita Čivilytė and Ona Mingė Slušnytė, LT United, Hiperbolė, Violin Beats, Infinitum dance studio dancers and others.

The event will be hosted by Arūnas Valinskas and Ruslana.

Since the first day of the war in Ukraine, members of ROTARY and LIONS clubs have been actively involved in organising aid and parma for Ukrainians, transporting it, bringing refugees from Ukraine safely to Lithuania, taking care of their accommodation and providing them with the necessary items. Responding to requests from fellow Ukrainian Rotary and Lions Clubs, we collect and transport targeted donations, organise and host various campaigns and events, during which the funds raised are allocated to help Ukraine.

Wounded Ukrainian soldiers receive the necessary treatment, but afterwards they face a long rehabilitation period. We want to make sure that they are not forgotten during this time.

Lithuanian rehabilitation facilities have about 1200 beds for wounded soldiers, and with the money raised from the concert tickets, we can pay for the 3-week rehabilitation of 150-200 Ukrainian soldiers in Lithuania.

During the event, we want to honour the heroism and unity of the Ukrainian people and their soldiers in defending their country, democracy and peace, not only in Ukraine, but all over the world.

We also want to show the unity of the performers – a joint project of performers from both countries, the result of that unity.

So the unity of all of us – the people of Ukraine, its soldiers, the people of Lithuania, the performers, the people of the world united in condemning the aggression – is a great strength.

It is a force that will tame the dark forces and bring peace back to Ukraine.
