MILLENNIUM 2000 Fest returns to Lithuania. In the Zalgirio Arena disco we will see the superstar of the United States – Darude, the legendary DJ SASH, the band – Groove Coverage and the singer Sonique. The first 1000 tickets are €39 each.

On 15 April, Zalgirio Arena will host the biggest disco in the Baltics. MILLENNIUM 2000 Fest has managed to invite well-known stars whose hits revolve around the year 2000. The organisers plan to sell 10,000 tickets and welcome spectators from abroad. Tickets will be distributed not only in Lithuania but also in Latvia and Estonia. On this day, the main space of Zalgirio Arena will be transformed into a huge nightclub. 8 trucks of sound equipment and lights will be set up and visitors will embark on an unforgettable time travel back in time to the golden 2000s.

The main star of the evening is DARUDE, a DJ known in Europe and the USA as an icon of electronic dance music. The 43-year-old, whose real name is Ville Vartanen, is one of Finland’s most popular artists of the last two decades. The producer, who started making music in 1995, became most famous in 1999 with the release of Sandstorm. The instrumental has reached the top ten in many European countries and its video has already been viewed more than 143 million times on YouTube, where it was uploaded only in 2009. The multi-award-winning artist has performed at hundreds of clubs and festivals around the world.

The concert will also feature DJ Sash, who has ten years of popularity, 17 million album sales and more than 60 gold and platinum awards. His first single “Its My Life” was released in 1995 and was an instant hit in European clubs. The artist will share his golden hits “Equador”, “Encore Une Fois”, “Mysterious Time”, “Adelante” and more with everyone.

Tonight’s band Groove Coverage is a German Euro-Trance/Hands Up band. This style evolved from the slightly earlier and more popular European dance music. Groove Coverage consists of Dj Novus and Axel Konrad. Melanie Munch (better known as Mell) is the lead vocalist, supported by singer Verena Rehm. The band has written many songs that have become famous all over the world, especially in Germany. “Moonlight Shadow”, “Poison”, “God is a Girl”, etc. are the most popular Groove Coverage songs in Lithuania and Europe.

Another star of the evening, who is returning to Lithuania after a 4-year hiatus, is one of Britain’s top DJs and performers, Sonique. With hits such as “It Feels So Good” and “Sky”, she will have thousands of hands in the air.

A laser show, 8 metre sculptures specially built for the evening and 4 other DJs will turn Zalgirio Arena into the biggest dance music venue. We will return to the colourful year 2000, and the organisers promise that this concert-festival will be written in golden letters in the history of Lithuanian concerts.
