The tradition of the Song Festival, which has been alive for almost 100 years, continues and invites us to the place where the rivers meet, where it all began in 1924 – Kaunas.

This year, on 4 June. The traditional Song and Dance Festival “Where Rivers Flow” will take place at Kaunas Zalgirio Arena on the Nemunas Island this June, attracting thousands of singers and dancers, ensembles and art lovers not only from Kaunas city and Kaunas region, but also from all over Lithuania.

For one day, under one roof, in the centre of Kaunas, the whole country and its villages, towns, cities, dialects, old songs, dances and other traditions will come together.

The festival will feature the most beautiful songs of all times, performed by choirs of adults, students, women, men, men, girls, boys, young people and schoolchildren.

Various folk dance ensembles and professional musicians will perform together.

The artistic director of the event is Danguole Beinaryte.
