On the 16th–18th January the qualifying Euroleague Basketball Next Generation tournament will be played at the Žalgiris Arena. It is the third time Kaunas welcomes the tournament. The U18 Žalgiris Kaunas team will also take part in it.
Group games will be played on the 16th and 17th January. On the 18th January, Sunday, the teams who have taken the second places in their groups will play for the third place, while the group winners will meet at the final. The tournament winner will advance to the Final Tournament in Madrid, Spain.
