48 swan dancers on stage is a kind of record. By default, 16-28 white swans are expected in “Swan Lake”.

Shocked and affected by Russia’s inhuman war of aggression against Ukraine, the famous ballet is changing its name to International Festival Ballet and has invited dancers from Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, Latvia, Hungary, Canada and Germany to join the company. The ballet company itself is now based in Germany.

The company, which also includes a number of Ukrainian dancers, naturally sees itself as a ballet of peace and harmony for all people.
