Well-known to Lithuanian audiences and having won numerous awards, Calum Scott is preparing several gifts for his fans this year – his latest album and a concert tour. On October 31, the artist’s velvety voice will also be heard in Lithuania – at the Kaunas “Žalgirio” arena.
Currently, C. Scott is intensively working on his third studio album “Avenoir”, which will be presented on September 12. The artist will invite listeners to an even deeper, more sensitive musical odyssey of emotions.
The artist’s first two albums “Only Human” (2018) and “Bridges” (2022) went platinum and brought him immense popularity, and the songs included in the album “Rise”, “Biblical”, “You Are The Reason”, “Dancing On My Own” and others have become the artist’s calling card and anthems of freedom and love. Fans around the world choose his music as the soundtrack to important life events, from weddings to farewell moments.
The title of the new album is inspired by John Koenig’s book “The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows”, in which the word “avenoir” means the desire for memory to flow back. “The word “avenoir” means that we move through life like rowers: moving forward, we look back to see where we have been, but we do not see where we are moving towards,” says the artist. “The songs on this album are about sadness, regret, unfading love. It is a call to live life to the fullest here and now,” says C. Scott.
C. Scott and his biggest solo concert in Lithuania to date – already on October 31 at Kaunas “Žalgirio” arena. Tickets on sale – from this Friday, 11 am. Tickets at the best price only on that day.
