The legendary German band Alphaville is coming to Lithuania with an impressive anniversary tour to celebrate 40 years on stage! Alphaville, founded in 1982, became famous worldwide with such cult hits as “Forever Young”, “Big in Japan” and “Sounds Like a Melody”. Their music has become timeless and still fascinates both loyal fans and a new generation of music lovers.

Alphaville’s musical style is a synthesizer-infused pop sound, complemented by deep, melancholic and at the same time uplifting lyrics. The group has not only recorded many hits, but also maintained an authentic style over the decades, proving that real music never gets old.

The group, which became famous with the eternally immortal ballad “Forever Young”, immediately shot to the top of popularity. They themselves could not imagine that this superhit would not only be heard in all corners of the world and in commercials for banks and insurance companies, but would also become the soundtrack for dozens of films and TV series, and would be covered or used in their works by Laura Branigan, Karel Gott, Jay-Z, One Direction and many other world music stars.

“For us, this is a compliment, but I don’t take it seriously. Although sometimes there are interesting variations. For example, Polish metalheads have also covered the song “Forever Young” with a female singer. It was strange. But I find the project that is more interesting to me, which is carried out by the band’s fans, who themselves perform our songs and release collections of such recordings every couple of years, a sign of great dedication,” Marian Gold does not hide her satisfaction.

This unique concert will be complemented by special guests – the legendary Swedish band Secret Service! This band, formed in 1979, reached the peak of its fame in the 1970s with such songs as “Flash in the Night”, “Ten O’Clock Postman” and “Oh Susie”. Their songs have become part of pop music history and still resonate in the hearts of many fans. Secret Service combines a melodic pop sound with elements of electronic music, and their works are instantly recognizable.

Both bands will perform with live bands, so the audience will have the opportunity to hear their authentic, real sound. During the concert you will see a flawless light and sound show, which will enhance the musical emotions and allow you to immerse yourself in a nostalgic, but at the same time lively atmosphere.
