On April 26, the biggest concert of recent times by Džordana Butkutė and the band “I like” will take place in Kaunas “Žalgirio” arena. “I want the people gathered there to say just that from the first moments: I like it!” – says the singer.

Džordana was the first Lithuanian performer, a woman, who held a smashing success tour “Nesudeginta ant laužo” in all arenas of the country. It immediately raised the bar high: in 2014, putting an entire apocalyptic city on stage with huge decorations and burning cars seemed something beyond comprehension.

Over the past 10 years, Džordana has pleasantly surprised more than once: even today, listeners vividly remember her “I’m the Queen!” garden effect, light-manipulating mirrors and many other unique solutions. And at the center of it all is Džordana, a scene icon who has been popular for decades, bringing everyone to their feet with her powerful energy and endless volleys of super hits.

The team is already intensively preparing for what will happen on April 26. “To achieve something, you have to work, work, work. Not instant, but long-term success does not happen by itself. You have to put aside hesitation, modesty, overcome mistrust and move forward. You are afraid of something – close your eyes and overcome your fear. That’s the only way you’ll move on and achieve what you want. I am very happy to have a team of professionals who know their work well and are able to achieve more than possible. I can do anything with them,” says Džordana.

Recently, she delighted the audience by returning to the repertoire the 15-year-unsung hit “I’ll go to the sea” and presenting a video clip for it, which has not been released for at least 20 years. This song was long requested by J. Fans of Butkutė, whose ranks have noticeably renewed.

“The children whose mothers played my tapes grew up,” the artist smiles. – But everything is not only about nostalgia. We showed the highest quality in every arena show. People would line up for hours after the concerts just to hug us. And I used to be there, I used to talk, because I didn’t care that I had just given my all on the stage and my strength was almost gone. It is more important for me that people are full of impressions and want to share them with me, thank me, and in the end – capture them. It’s time for everyone to meet again and be happy, because such concerts in arena spaces, when you can realize all your biggest dreams, ambitious technical solutions and create your own world, are not only a huge challenge, but also a happiness of the same size.”

Džordana promises to present the palette of the warmest emotions to the listeners even now. “On the poster of the arena concert, I have my eyes closed because I’m enjoying the moment I’m living. Then, when the song “I like” was written, I did not know that I would feel its true meaning many years later. Now that we’ve experienced so much, I clearly understand: I like to live this way, I’m grateful for the life I have. And what would he be without you? It’s time to meet again in the arena, sing all your favorite songs together and share happiness,” says the singer.
