This spring, Andrius Mamontovas presented his biggest and most ambitious show yet, “Kitoks pasaulis”. For the first time, Lithuanian arenas were transformed into a giant world of colour and water, where the musician and his band performed their best songs against the backdrop of 100 fountains, on an unconventional stage, with a plethora of lasers, fire and special lighting effects. The almost three-hour concert featured Andrius’ most popular tracks from four decades of music, as well as some of Foje’s old hits. Two packed arenas of fans sang the entire repertoire by heart – “Ufonautai”, “Do you remember me?”, “When you open the door to me”, “Yellow. Green. Red”, “Would that be you?”, “Mono or Stereo”, “City of the Sun”, “Love won’t be too much”, “Bonfire Light” and many others.

Andrius Mamontovas’ musicians – Eimantas Belickas, Tomas Andrijauskas, Ieva Makauskaitė and Meinards Brazaitis – were joined at the last moment by Andrey Chmut, a saxophonist from Ukraine. The young and talented jazz musician is an excellent improviser, who has performed extensively with the Ukrainian singer Jamala and instantly fit in with Mamontovas band. More than 50 Lithuanian and foreign lighting, sound and video graphics professionals worked for months on the creation of the show “Kitoks pasaulis”. This is one of the most expensive and technically challenging projects in the history of Lithuanian music, worth seeing with your own eyes and feeling with all your heart.
