LOREEN

Eurovision champion Loreen will perform in Lithuania. The first female artist to win Eurovision twice has announced the dates of her European tour. Swedish singer Loreen will perform at the country’s biggest concert venue, Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas on 1 December. This will be her only performance in Lithuania.

Loreen – „Tattoo“:

Singer Loreen made history as the first woman to win the Eurovision Song Contest twice. Her first win at the world’s most important song contest came in 2012, when her song Euphoria won the most points from the public and the viewers.

Loreen – „Euphoria“:

In a press conference held immediately after her historic victory in Liverpool, Loreen announced plans for a European tour. The Swedish star not only wowed the audience and the jury by winning Eurovision for the second time, but also delighted her fans with the news of a concert tour. Loreen is expected to perform 67 concerts, one of which will be in Lithuania.

“My European tour will take place in November,” Loreen revealed the secret news, adding jokingly that “her managers will kill her for it”.

Loreen – „Tattoo“ (Acoustic):

Loreen’s real name is Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui. She was born in Stockholm to Moroccan parents. At the age of 20, she rose to fame after taking part in the talent contest Idol. Shortly after, Loreen released her first single “The Snake”, recorded with the well-known Swedish music duo Rob’N’Raz. Loreen later worked in television, hosting TV shows and producing quirky reality shows.

Loreen – „Neon Light“:

At the end of 2022, it was announced that Loreen would take part in Melodifestivalen for the fourth time, which was won by her song “Tattoo”. With 177 points, Loreen became Sweden’s representative at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. Tattoo won the contest with 583 points, making it Sweden’s seventh victory. Loreen became the first female artist to win the contest twice.

Loreen – „Nude“:

Six years passed before Loreen returned to the music scene. In 2011, she entered the Melodifestivalen competition with “My Heart Is Refusing Me”, which became a hit and reached number 9 on the Swedish singles chart.

Loreen – „My Heart Is Refusing Me“:

A year later, Loreen returned to the Melodifestivalen competition and won with Euphoria. She also triumphed in the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, where she received the highest scores from the public and the jury. In 2012, Loreen released her debut studio album Heal to critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching number one on the Swedish charts and selling platinum copies.

Loreen – „We Got The Power“:

Swedish singer Loreen’s second studio album Ride was released at the end of 2017. It was launched with two singles, “71 Charger” and “Hate The Way I Love You”.

Loreen – „Hate The Way I Love You“:

In 2020, Loreen starred in David Dobkin’s Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga and signed a contract with Universal Music, which released her first Swedish single, Sotvattentarar.
