St. Petersburg Festival Ballet: “Gulbiu ezeras”
The St. Petersburg Festival Ballet is a great troupe that embodies what is called the “Russian Classical Ballet School” – strict classical elegance, a fresh breath of the ХХI century, ideal performance technique, and an unfathomable Russian soul along with royal luxury costumes and decorations.
This season Petersburg Festival Ballet presents you with the pearl of world classics – the ballet “Gulbių ežeras” (two-part ballet based on the music of P.I. Tchaikovsky).
This year’s performances are unique in that the troupe will present the world’s largest “Gulbių ežeras” to Lithuanian audiences.
48 swan dancers is a kind of record. Never before have so many ballerinas danced on any stage at once, since 16-28 white swans are present as a standard in Swan Lake.
